I think these are both equally good! Now you have two amazing and different stylizations to choose from ^-^ p.s I was just recommended your comic this week and I'm really enjoying it, thank you for keeping it going!
I like both, but I think everything is a little better when the gradients are toned down, so that's a step in the right direction : D It might add a little more depth if you darkened the ponytail, since that's farthest away from the viewer.
LOL~ Wow, your work has certainly improved since starting. I noticed that in your comic as well (See comparison of very first page to most recent chapter...) I wish you all the luck in the world with school
I like the hair on the original more, since it looks "realistic" and like something Arti would do, but the coloring and feel of the newer one is better. It's not as sharp, and has a more lighthearted feel to it. More lovey dovey than before. And yeah, she looks like a chola X3
I kind of like them both for different reasons. I like the detail in the hair from the one done in February. The single strands of hair make it look more realistic compared to the way you drew the current iteration of the piece. The shading for the hair looks better too, between the two of these pieces that is. The new version has the better shading when it comes to the face and arms, and the detailing in her face looks much more aesthetically pleasing.
I like the newer version! The hair especially looks much better with the wider and more varied sweeps of color, and the shading has gotten more realistic for the skin and the curves all look a bit more...natural!
